Creepy Leaks is a project run by Irina Shklovski & Erik Grönvall in collaboration with Athina Markopoulou from University of California, Irvine. Our goal is to explore different ways of creating awareness about data leakage and to foster reflection on the futility of making end users responsible for managing their data on mobile technologies.
CreepyLeaks constantly monitors for data leakage from your smart phone or tablet using the AntMonitor application. When detected, a special-purpose device receives a signal via Bluetooth and notifies the user about data leakage using electrical muscle stimulation.
